Motel 6-Santa Barbara
This hotel on a budget is only 1 minute away from the beach and the famous boulevard with palm trees. While the building might look a little bit older, the rooms are very modern.
The hotel offers free wifi and a free parking spot. This can be a dealmaker since parking can be very expensive. There is an ice machine and vending machines in the lobby, perfect for late-night snacks.
The Ramada Inn isn’t located in the city center, nor near the beach. It is 13 km from the center of Santa Barbara and 4 km from the closest beach. The rooms are in a classic American style. The gardens of the hotel are wonderful, and the rooms have a view of the gardens. They offer a continental breakfast and a free parking spot.
The small hotel offers everything you need, whether it is on a one-night stay or a multiple-day stay. The lobby offers free coffee and tea. The closest beach is 3 minutes away, and the city center of Santa Barbara is 10 minutes away.
This is our favorite. The rooms are modern, and when entering, you drive underneath this beautiful arch of greenery. It is the most expensive one in the mid-range area, but it is close to the harbor, downtown, and the beach.
It offers a free parking place, and that’s something not so common in the downtown area.
