Crowley Lake Stone Columns
The Crowley Lake Columns sit on the eastern shore of Crowley Lake, standing nearly 20 feet tall. These volcanic formations were created over 760,000 years ago during a massive eruption. What makes them even more unique? Theyāre connected by delicate arches, resembling the ruins of an ancient Moorish temple.
For centuries, these stone giants remained hidden, until the lakeās waves slowly eroded the softer rock, revealing their incredible structure. Theyāre not easy to reach, which is why so few people know about them. Those who do often donāt attempt the journey. But trust us, itās worth it.
