- Day 3: Madison Square, Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park
Day 1: Brooklyn, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and Statue of Liberty
We take the subway to York St. High St. was also possible, but the line to York St. was easier. We walk to Dumbo to see the Empire State Building through the Manhattan Bridge. We chose not to discover Brooklyn anymore because of the schedule and made our way to the Brooklyn Bridge and back to Manhattan. The views from the bridge are insane. Brooklyn is also a great place to watch the sunset.

We walked to Oculus to get some food and visited Ground Zero and the 9/11 Museum in the afternoon. It’s one of the most special museums we’ve ever visited. To end the day, we walked to Pier 15 for a sunset cruise to Miss Liberty.
Day 2: Little Island, Chelsea Market, High Line, The Vessel, and Hudson Yards
We take the subway to W 4 St-Wash Sq. and start our day at Washington Square to walk to Little Island and Chelsea Market. We specifically start at Washington Square to go past the Friends apartment building.
After lunch in Chelsea Market, we make our way to the High Line. This is a part of New York that is not on everyone’s radar, but it’s so worth it. The High Line ends in the Hudson Yards, where we are visiting the Vessel and getting our tickets for The Edge. This is one of the best observation decks in New York, and it is the highest outside observation deck in the city.

Day 3: Madison Square, Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park
Today, we take the subway to 23 St. We start at the Flatiron Building and Madison Square. We make our way down 5th Avenue to the Empire State Building. It’s one of the most iconic buildings in the Big Apple, and we need to get to the top. After the Empire State Building, we go to Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
We do a short loop through Central Park with The Mall, Bethesda Terrace, the Bow Bridge, and Umpire Rock. We close our 3-day stay in New York at Times Square. Make sure to come here once just before midnight. All the billboards show the same art piece every day at midnight.
